But comparing Pearson to Stevie Nicks is possibly a little unfair on the multi-million-record-selling American.

Pearson’s country Americana the main aura when she takes to the matinee stage at five minutes to four.
Opening with Take Back The Radio, the socially distanced audience of just 60 are instantly transported to an expansive plain.
We are riding high on horseback painting pop in the ranches of an old Western movie. Or that’s kind of how it feels.

After the beautiful Something Real she asks the audience if this is their first gig back.
It’s quite apt that the set comprises mostly of Pearson’s debut Return as this is the first Get It Loud in Libraries gig for more than 15 months.
And it’s like we’ve never been away.
Tunes are at home among the tomes as Pearson and her amazing band plough through Hey You, Miracle (her finest moment to date – check out the new video below) and Fix Me Up.
There’s 10 songs and two brand new numbers lassooed in. One has the refrain: “…all the time, all the time, I feel like I’m going crazy…”
The song has a vibe of REM’s Don’t Go Back To Rockville.
The new songs sound every bit as outstanding as those on the album.
Pearson’s magical set draws to a close with Tonight.
